Winrar overview
WinRR is a data compression utility that fully supports RR and ZIP archives and is able to unpack CAB, RJ, LZH, TR, GZ, AC, UU, BZ2, JR, ISO, 7Z, Z archives. It consistently creates smaller records than its rivals, thus saving more disk space and transition costs.
WinRAR is an easy-to-use, lightweight and flexible archive utility that can unpack most archive formats. It can compress both RR and ZIP. WinRR provides a graphic interactive interface using mouse and menus as well as a command line interface. WinRR is easy to use with many other archives with the inclusion of a special "wizard" mode that allows quick access to basic archiving functions.
The WinRAR interface has a simple interface. You can start creating (or adding) an archive by dragging your files across the interface or browsing through the folder tree side panel (when enabled). From there the most common tasks are colored, mostly in the form of intuitive icons at the top, which can be customized by downloading them from all organizations' websites. You can extract, test, delete, or archive files directly from the interface. The drop-down menu includes more advanced features of the program, including self-lift archives, archive locking, bench detection, and automatic deletion of temporary files.
