WinRAR Overview
WinRAR is a data compression utility that fully supports RAR and ZIP archives and can unpack CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, ACE, UUE, BZ2, JAR, ISO, 7Z, Z archives. It consistently makes smaller archives than its competitors, so more disk space and transmission costs save
WinRAR is easy to use, lightweight and flexible archive utility that can unpack the maximum archive format. It can compress both RAR and ZIP. WinRAR provides graphic interactive interface using mouse and menu and command line interface. WinRAR is easier to use than a number of other archives, including a special "wizard" mode that allows instant access to basic archives functions.
WinRAR's interface has a simple interface. You can drag (and add to) a folder by dragging and dropping your files in the interface, or by dragging the folder tree side panel (when enabled). From there, the most common functions are decorated in color, size, with the size of most intuitive icons, which can be downloaded and customized from all website's web sites. You can add files, extract, test, delete, even archive the archives from the main interface. The drop-down menu is more advanced in the program, self-extracting archives, archive locking, bench marking and automatic deletion of temporary files.
